Why now
Sri Lanka's SME and estate economy runs on paper under rising compliance and labour-cost pressure, while smartphones are near-universal. The tooling to close that gap at the field layer barely exists.
What it could be
A shared platform (attendance, payroll, records, compliance evidence) with vertical skins.
Estates first, then apparel subcontractors, logistics, agri-export, or construction labour.
A compliance-evidence engine reusable across certifications and regulators.
Per-site pricing tuned for margin-stressed local businesses, not enterprise ERP tiers.
Open questions before it is real
Is there a real platform underneath, or are these five unrelated products wearing a trenchcoat?
Which second vertical is reachable, and is its pain as budgeted as estates?
Does the same incumbent risk (Agrithmics-style local players) exist in each vertical?
Can a horizontal platform win before a focused single-vertical competitor does?
